A Gift of Healing Does NOT Necessarily Make You A Good Preacher, Shepherd, or Leader in God’s Work

The hidden gifts are absolutely the most essential for leadership!

The outstanding supernatural visible miraculous gifts of the Spirit are not always the most necessary gifts for leadership in the Lord’s work. The gifts of HEALING, miracles, tongues, or even interpretation and prophecy don’t necessarily give you the wisdom, the discernment, the faith or the knowledge which you need to lead. If you want to be a leader for the Lord, you need to pray for those gifts that are not quite so obvious, not quite so manifest.

You can’t see faith, but others can see it on your face and can tell by the way you act how much faith you’ve got! You can’t feel knowledge, the ability to know things that other people don’t know or to know things beforehand! You can’t see wisdom, which is how to use the knowledge of God! You can’t hear discernment, yet without it you are going to be unaware of the Devil’s devices and totally unprepared and unarmed for his dirty work!

Those four unseen gifts are the most important gifts for a leader to have! In fact, you can’t even be a leader without those gifts, or at least some of them!–So pray for those gifts!–Amen?
David

“ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU” (JN.15:4).

In the famous beautiful 15th Chapter of John Jesus says, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without Me ye can do nothing! If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned!” (Jn.15:5,6). If ever you, as a branch don’t abide in the Vine, don’t abide in Christ, don’t abide in His love, His Word, His service, then you will become unfruitful and withered and you will be cast forth as a branch!–Not lost, not unsaved, but cast aside as being no longer useful.

Without the flow of the Spirit there is no life. You must be firmly implanted in the Vine where you’re receiving the juice and the sap and the nourishment that you need directly from the Lord Himself.–And a lot of how you grow is up to you, by how much nourishment you receive! So don’t cut yourself off from the Vine!

He said, “Without Me ye can do nothing.” But if you are dwelling in the Vine, as one of the branches, then you can produce the beautiful leaves and the beautiful fruit that you need to produce so that He may be glorified and have much fruit!
