People who are disobedient or out of God’s Will, people who are out of fellowship with the Lord or unspiritual, people who are not really living in the Spirit and looking to the Lord for guidance and trusting Him, are shallow.–It’s just shallow flesh so they’re bound to make a lot of mistakes!
It’s dangerous for people to be shallow, not deep in the Lord, deep in the Spirit, but merely shallow in the flesh, carnal and carnally-minded. They’re like Saul, they’re just strong in their own flesh and so confident of their own intelligence that they make all their own decisions, which are usually the wrong ones because we just can’t be led of our own natural reasoning in the mind of the flesh when God’s Spirit may know differently and often does!
We need you so much Lord! We can make such foolish mistakes and ridiculous decisions if we’re out of the Spirit and dwelling in the flesh and natural reasoning! Help us to be more mindful of You, Lord, more humble before Thee, more conscious of Thee and Thy presence and more sensitive to Thy Spirit, so that we will know Thy Will and do it! In Jesus’ name we ask!–Amen!
How do we receive the spiritual nourishment we need from the Lord? It’s so simple: we just have to have the faith of a little baby!
When a baby is crying to be fed, he knows his mother wouldn’t think of refusing him! God put it in that baby to know that if he calls, she will answer. He expects the answer and he gets it!–And if we, as children of our Heavenly Father, ask for milk, He’s surely not going to give us a serpent or something else! (Luk.11:10-13).
And what is it that brings the milk out of the mother’s breast? When the baby sucks, he creates a vacuum inside his mouth which pulls the milk out. Prayer is creating a vacuum like that inside our hearts: “Lord, here is this empty space!–You fill it!”
When the baby is very tiny, his mother has to bring the nourishment to him and show him where it is. But as he gets older, he automatically knows where to find the milk and he can reach out for it himself.–And likewise, the more we practice receiving nourishment from God, the better we know where to find it! And as long as we keep sucking, we’ll get more because God has unlimited capacity to give!
Sharing is one of the principles of God’s Family. “Neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. Neither was there any among them that lacked” (Acts 4:32,34).
We must learn to share with others if we’re going to have complete and total fellowship and unity. Instead of drawing a circle and shutting the others out, maybe you need to draw a circle and take them in. You can accomplish much more by sharing more and helping others more. It’s not subtracting, not dividing, it’s all adding. The more you give, the more He will give you! “Freely ye have received, also freely give” (Mat.10:8).
Sharing has no stopping place! We should be willing to sacrifice anything and give our all, whether it be to the Lord or our Family or whoever! Sharing helps us be kinder and better to each other, and love each other more because we see how unselfish the other is. So let’s be good to each other, and love one another, and help each other, and be thankful and giving and kind to each other in every way, with real genuine 100% love, the 100% wholehearted genuine love of God!
You can have a sexual relationship with the Lord in the Spirit! In fact, He made physical sex as an illustration of His Own spiritual union with His Bride! The unity of the flesh is symbolic of the unity of the Spirit.–A counterpart of spiritual ecstasies! There’s only one thing better than physical sex, and that’s spiritual sex, intercourse with God Himself in the Spirit, being married to Jesus Christ as His Bride! (Rom.7:4).
If you’ve never known the love of God, you’ve never known the most beautiful sexual experiences you can ever have–those spiritual explosive orgasms in the Spirit! You don’t know what thrills are until you have had a spiritual orgasm of the Spirit, an explosion in the Spirit by being possessed with the Holy Spirit of God!
You can find the Man of your dreams in Jesus your Bridegroom, and the Girl of your dreams in the Goddess of Love, His Motherly Holy Spirit that He has provided for everyone to be satisfied and fulfilled!–And you’ll be whisked off into a World which you never dreamed existed, where you’ll enjoy the very wonders of total intimacy with a sexy naked God Himself!
Any intelligent person always thoroughly studies the instructions to a valuable machine before they even touch it or attempt to operate it!–And as a result, they save themselves a lot of time and trouble and possible permanent damage to their equipment as well. But those who are too impatient to read the book first or think they already know how to operate it, or don’t want to confess that they need the help of the instruction book, usually have nothing but trouble!
Why struggle through life needlessly when your Creator, your Maker, your Manufacturer, God, has had some men of His write a Maker’s instruction Manual, with definite diagrams and already stated specifications for the complicated business of living and operating your own body, mind and spirit! You could waste an awful lot of time and do an awful lot of damage to yourself and a lot of other people by not taking time to read the Book first, to learn the right way to operate your soul in order to save it for His use without abuse, and get it finally safe to Heaven forever! Don’t take chances!–Read and follow the Book!–Amen?
If you try to do the Master’s work without the Master’s power, you’re tackling an impossible job! You cannot strive and wrest in your own strength. You must look to the Lord in very earnest prayer for the strength and the spirit and inspiration to help you through, or you’re apt to wear yourself out.
It’s like the story of the small boy who was trying very hard to lift a heavy object when his father came into the room and asked him, “Are you using all your strength?”
“Yes, of course I am!” the boy impatiently exclaimed.
“No, you’re not,” the father answered, “you haven’t asked me to help you.”–Even a little help from Jesus is a bigger help than everybody else can give you! A little help from the Lord is the biggest help you can get! And that’s all the help we need is just a little help from Jesus. Just a little help from Jesus will make it right, all right! Without Him you’re nothing, but with Him you’re everything!
“Give me a task too big, too hard for human hands, then shall I come at length to lean on Thee, and leaning find my strength.”
Jesus promised that we’re even going to go beyond what He Himself was able to do!–And why shouldn’t we? Today’s population is greater, the need is greater, the opportunities are greater, and the hour is greater, even the means are greater, with the printed word, radio, television, air travel, the mails and much, much more! We’ve got all the means, and the greatest opportunities in history at our disposal!
We’ve probably reached more millions of people with our message in this world today than there were on Earth when Jesus was here! He never personally won as many souls as we’ve won. He ever personally visited as many countries or spoke as many languages or printed as much literature or was on radio or television, but we have done all these things!
We have done all these things which are even greater than what Jesus did while He was here! But of course, “It is Christ that is working in you!” (Phi.2:13). He has done them and it is all His work! So we have done greater things even than Jesus did when He was here on Earth–not greater things than Jesus has ever done, because He’s done it all through us, praise the Lord?
A true pioneer is only happy pioneering! The real pioneer with a true pioneer’s heart and a heart for the field and a heart for the battlefront is not satisfied just to sit down and rock along! He never settles down, he’s always pioneering!
The pioneer is only interested in pioneering! Once he’s got something built, he loses interest and he’s happy to let somebody else run it, while he moves on to pioneer again! As soon as one new field becomes settled and well enough established that someone else can take his place, he gets itchy feet for far-away places that have never been trodden by his feet before, and away he goes, leaving his former field to those who aren’t yet ready to go! Once the pioneer has established a new work of God and things are going well, almost any good leader can keep it going with the Lord’s help!–While the pioneer goes on to pioneer another!
Are you like an arrow that wants to be shot into the sky and land in some new field you care not where as long as it’s out of here in some place else, some place different, some place new where others haven’t been before?–That’s the spirit of a true pioneer!
You were born with certain positive traits and certain negative traits and your personality is influenced by your ancestors, your zodiac and your environment, but it is largely up to you whether or not you emphasize your positive traits and try to overcome your negative ones.
God gives every person two sides, and a great deal is up to you what you do with what you have. You can either be strong and saintly or weak and wicked and He leaves the choice and majesty of decision up to you, which way you want to go.–To go in the strong direction upstream, or to just drift with the tide. The choice is yours, but having made the right choice to really want to be strong and good and Godly, then the Lord can step in, and help you be that way! Together you can overcome your environment and your heredity and that weak and wicked side of your nature, if you’ve got the faith and the drive and the determination and self-discipline to do something about it!
He can overrule it all and make you a new creature in Christ Jesus with old things passed away and all things become new! (2Cor.5:17).
Suffering is a catalyst, it’s the test-tube-time to see whether you already have the grace to take it by faith, or if it can turn you to grace and cause you to call upon God.
Suffering always does one of these three things: It purifies and humbles and cleanses the saved and draws us even closer to God; it turns some of the unsaved to God and brings them to repentance and Salvation as in their suffering they cry unto the Lord; and then, finally, it causes some to curse God all the more and therefore be all the more deserving of His judgements.
The Lord allows the Enemy to test people and often the Devil brings suffering on people hoping they will blame it all on God and turn against Him. The Enemy tries to point an accusing finger at the Love of God, hoping they will “curse God and die” as Job’s wife advised him to do. But the Lord is hoping that they will endure in faith and trust Him anyway, and say with Job, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him!” (Job 13:15).
Lord, help us to let our sorrows and sufferings bring out the best in us! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
