People who are disobedient or out of God’s Will, people who are out of fellowship with the Lord or unspiritual, people who are not really living in the Spirit and looking to the Lord for guidance and trusting Him, are shallow.–It’s just shallow flesh so they’re bound to make a lot of mistakes!
It’s dangerous for people to be shallow, not deep in the Lord, deep in the Spirit, but merely shallow in the flesh, carnal and carnally-minded. They’re like Saul, they’re just strong in their own flesh and so confident of their own intelligence that they make all their own decisions, which are usually the wrong ones because we just can’t be led of our own natural reasoning in the mind of the flesh when God’s Spirit may know differently and often does!
We need you so much Lord! We can make such foolish mistakes and ridiculous decisions if we’re out of the Spirit and dwelling in the flesh and natural reasoning! Help us to be more mindful of You, Lord, more humble before Thee, more conscious of Thee and Thy presence and more sensitive to Thy Spirit, so that we will know Thy Will and do it! In Jesus’ name we ask!–Amen!
How do we receive the spiritual nourishment we need from the Lord? It’s so simple: we just have to have the faith of a little baby!
When a baby is crying to be fed, he knows his mother wouldn’t think of refusing him! God put it in that baby to know that if he calls, she will answer. He expects the answer and he gets it!–And if we, as children of our Heavenly Father, ask for milk, He’s surely not going to give us a serpent or something else! (Luk.11:10-13).
And what is it that brings the milk out of the mother’s breast? When the baby sucks, he creates a vacuum inside his mouth which pulls the milk out. Prayer is creating a vacuum like that inside our hearts: “Lord, here is this empty space!–You fill it!”
When the baby is very tiny, his mother has to bring the nourishment to him and show him where it is. But as he gets older, he automatically knows where to find the milk and he can reach out for it himself.–And likewise, the more we practice receiving nourishment from God, the better we know where to find it! And as long as we keep sucking, we’ll get more because God has unlimited capacity to give!
The best thing that we could possibly ask of the Lord for ourselves is that we all be faithful! “Be thou faithful unto death,” He says, “and I will give you a crown of life!” (Rev.2:10).
If you think about trying to be faithful the rest of your life, that just scares you, that worries you! That’s just too big, you’ll never make it!–But what about today? You may have had your little trials and testings, you may have gotten discouraged, you may have made mistakes. But have you still got your faith today? Then you’re full of faith! You’ve been faithful today!
You can only live one day at a time! You can only be faithful one day at a time! So don’t worry about when you weren’t faithful yesterday or whether you’re going to be faithful tomorrow, but do your best to be faithful today. Just be faithful one day at a time. You don’t even have to have faith for a whole day. The only faith you need is what you have got right now! Just have faith for this moment, right now, one moment at a time.
Just be faithful every day, one day at a time, and you will inherit an eternal crown of life!
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb.11:1).
That word translated “substance” in our English Bibles was “hupostasis” in the original Greek, a word whose precise meaning wasn’t understood until just a few years ago when British archaeologists uncovered the burned ruins of an old inn in Palestine. There they found a small iron chest containing the valuable papers of a Roman noblewoman who had been staying at the inn when it burned. She had apparently been travelling, checking up on her various land holdings in that area because in this little chest they found most of the papers labeled with a big title “hupostasis.”–They were the title deeds to her properties!
“Now faith is the title deed of things hoped for!” Perhaps that woman had never even seen her properties before, as she’d bought the title deeds in Rome, but because she had the title deeds in her hand she knew they were hers & could prove ownership! If you’ve got faith, even though you haven’t seen the answer yet, you have the title deed to it! It’s yours! Your name is written on it & you will see it eventually. The title deed is in your hands! It’s done!

The following story is one of many stories that will be included in the book Jerry Marzinsky is writing. This story is a stand-alone piece for a taste of Jerry’s work on the front lines as a licensed mental health practitioner, specializing in psychiatric care. The patient’s name in this story has been changed to Lilly.
There is something I do not know, the knowing of which could change everything.” — Werner Erhard.
Prelude: The story you are about to read is a true accounting that took place while working as a psychiatric crisis evaluator in the emergency room of the Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. This story provides a rare insight into the psychotic mind and what drives schizophrenia as well as a unique perspective into the human condition and the unseen forces that affect us all.
As I entered the psych ward, its heavy steel door slammed shut behind me with a metallic bang. I headed for the psychiatric evaluators’ office to begin my shift. Within the cramped work space, surrounded by thick sheets of clear shatter proof Plexiglas, two of my colleagues stared at computers. To my right, a sudden movement in the annex snagged my attention. Any quick movement in this place signaled trouble. In the middle of the annex floor surrounded by other psych patients who watched from their beds, an attractive Caucasian female, like a drunken Kung Fu artist, flailed at the air. Was she burning off nervous energy or fighting some invisible demon? Sue, the psych nurse tapped my shoulder.

Too many people think about “faithful” as being some kind of a works thing that they must work up. But faith is a gift of God. You just have to depend on the Lord to keep you faithful and trust Him that your faith won’t fail, because faith comes from Him.
And all you have to do if you don’t have enough faith is just hear the Word, read the Word, that’s the source of faith. You have to give Him a little cooperation, you have to listen, you have to read, you have to obey, but that’s the easy part. It’s His job to keep you faithful, full of faith which comes from Him!
So quit trying so hard! Quit worrying about it! Quit trying to work it up or even pray it down! Just keep trusting the Lord and don’t worry. He’ll give you all the faith you need!
“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior,” commit your way, your life, your mind, your thoughts, your time! “For I know Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day” (Jude 24,25; 2Ti.1:12).
PTL! Only He can do it!
Thank God for our knowledge of His Word and His Revelations which have brought us out of the darkness of this world into His glorious light and the freedom of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in which the truth has given us liberty. We have found freedom through the Truth of God and His Word, the freedom that love gives, true love! As we continue in His Word we have found the truth and the truth has set us free! (Jn.8:32). But this only comes through living in the Word, knowing the Word and following the Word!
It’s a fight for liberty. What is liberty?–To know the Truth. And the Devil never wants people to know the Truth, for the Truth can make them free! The Enemy likes to keep people under the bondage of darkness. But Jesus said, “I came to preach the Gospel to the poor, and to set the prisoners free” (Luk. 4:18). And now He sent us to liberate and free others through the Word!
The only hope and the only freedom and the only way out is up through faith! The only way we’ll ever be able to free others of the Devil’s lies and propaganda and restrictions is by bringing them into the Kingdom of God through the Truth of His Word!
In all of your witnessing, dwell on the positive, not the negative! Although you must be prepared on occasion to fight the Devil and his lies and be able to answer all questions of anybody that ask of you, most of the time you should preach positively!
Try to approach others in a positive way with a positive attitude.–Be friendly, loving, understanding, compassionate, sympathetic, establishing as many points of agreement as you can. Dwell on things that you share in common as human beings with common problems, not points of disagreement!
Fighting false systems and false doctrines can be a temptation when you know you’re so right and they’re so wrong, but that’s a negative type of preaching, it’s negative witnessing.–And that kind of an attitude just doesn’t win people, it doesn’t win souls and it doesn’t show love! The best way to attack points of disagreement is not by a frontal attack against their darkness and their lies, but by just presenting the light, the positive! Preach the Truth and the Truth will take care of the lies!
Instead of preaching against things, let’s preach Jesus and uphold Christ and He will draw all men unto Him!–Amen? God bless and keep you lovingly winsome!
A suicidal 13-year-old had a life changing conversation on a ski lift with “a strangely familiar sounding man with a scarf over his face” who turned out to be Danny DeVito.

“Danny Devito is a good man.
So as a boy I went to a boarding school where horrible abuse was taking place. Although nothing was exposed while I attended (unfortunately), the school was broken up just a few years later and faculty members were arrested. The experiences there seriously affected me and I was asking for help the entire time but I was never believed, which made me feel exceptionally isolated and alone. I was being abused but my own family wouldn’t take my word on it. Continue reading “Guy Shares Personal Story About How Danny DeVito Saved His Life”
A little full-of-faith prayer from a little child can turn the tide! “And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hang about his neck and cast into the sea!” – Jesus said it and he meant it. God bless these humble policemen.
