Historic Letter written by Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar About Jesus Life Events – Truth or Fiction?

I have in my possession a copy of the letter written by Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar, Emperor of Rome.
This Historic letter written by Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar Letter is from the “Archko Volume” containing manuscripts, in Constantinople, and the Records of the Senatorial Docket, taken from the Library at Rome, Translated by Drs. McIntosh and Twyman of the Antiquerian Lodge, Genoa, Italy. This has been checked and is in accord with the copy of the original lodged in the British Museum, which has verified the accuracy of the transcription. Verified in November, 1935.
Historic Letter Resurrected Pilate’s lengthy letter to Tiberius Caesar—Discusses at length the arrest, the trial and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

TIBERIUS CAESAR-EMPEROR OF ROME-NOBLE SOVEREIGN GREETING:

The events of the last few days in my providence have been of such a character that I will give the details in full as they occurred, as I should not be surprised if, in the course of, time, they may change the destiny of our nation, for it seems of late that all the gods have ceased to be propitious.

I am almost ready to say, Cursed be the day that I succeeded Vallerius Falceus in the government of Judea; for since then my life has been one of continual uneasiness and distress.

On my arrival at Jerusalem I took possession of the Praetorium, and ordered a splendid feast to be prepared, to which I invited the Tetrarch of Galilee, with the high priest and his officers. At the appointed hour no guest appeared. This I considered an insult offered my dignity, and the whole government which I represent. A few days later, the high priest designed to pay me a visit.

Before we go on with the account, here is an article that claims that it is a hoax. We don’t know if it is or not, but for balance sake, we post this first, before the letter goes on. Even if it is fiction, it is very good fiction and inspiring to read. ENJOY Either way!

The Fraudulent Letter of Pontius Pilate

Menas Papageorgios

April 29, 2013
What is the truth behind the “news” of the alleged letter of Pilate about Jesus?
In the last 24 hours, presumably due to the coming of Easter Day, Greek news and information sites have spread the “news” of “the manuscript proof of the decision of Pontius Pilate regarding Jesus”.
According to these publications, which have reproduced massively throughout dozens of websites, “this exciting manuscript regarding the decision to crucify Jesus Christ remained completely unknown until 1309 A.D., until it was found in the well-known earthquake city of L’Aquila in Central Italy (near which was discovered the ancient Roman town of Amiterno, where they found the home of Pontius Pilate).”
They go on to say: “In 1381 it was brought to Constantinople in the days of Patriarch Jeremiah. It was translated by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Dionysios in the year 1643.”
The Truth
In fact news about the above letter is “old news”, appearing at times even in different variations and bears no relations to current events. The most important thing is that the text above is not associated even with historical reality.
In 1928, British journalist William Percival Crozier (1879-1944) issued the “Letters of Pontius Pilate: Written During His Governorship of Judea to His Friend Seneca in Rome”, presenting a fantastic novel (fiction) on the idea of what could have been written by Pilate regarding Jesus, based on the facts described in the Gospels. He notes that the first to make reference to an “invisible” letter of Pilate regarding Jesus was the Christian apologist Tertullian in the 3rd century A.D. (obviously based on the references made in the apocryphal work “Acts of Peter and Paul”).
It is worth mentioning that internet users seeking answers regarding the reliability of the text of Pilate about Jesus, contacted the Library of Congress in the U.S., from whom they received the following answer:
The Library of Congress has received a number of inquiries over the years about a purported letter from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar concerning Jesus Christ. The Library does not have such a letter in its collections.
To restore the historical truth, we must mention that Pontius Pilate was a historical person who even had correspondence with the Roman orator Seneca. In the letters of Pilate to Seneca (available to historians) there is no mention of Jesus.

CONTINUED LETTER OF PONTIUS PILATE

His deportment was grave and deceitful. He pretended that his religion forbade him and his attendants to sit at the table of the Romans, and eat and offer libations with them, but this was only a sanctimonious seeming, for his very countenance betrayed his hypocrisy.
Although I thought it expedient to accept his excuse, from that moment I was convinced that the conquered had declared themselves the enemy of the conquerors; and I would warn the Romans to beware of the high Priests of this country. They would betray their own mother to gain office and a luxurious living. It seems to me that, of conquered cities, Jerusalem is the most difficult to govern.

So turbulent are the people that I live in momentary dread of an insurrection. I have not soldiers sufficient to suppress it. I had only one centurion and a hundred men at my command. I requested a reinforcement from the perfect of Syria, who informed me that he had scarcely troops sufficient to defend his own province. An insatiate thirst for conquest to extend our empire beyond the means of defending it, I fear, will be the cause of the final overthrow of our whole government. I lived secluded from the masses, for I do not know what those priests might influence the rabble to do; yet I endeavored to ascertain, as far as I could, the mind and standing of the people. Turin Shroud is stained with the blood of a torture victim, new research reveals

New research claims the Shroud of Turin is stained with the blood of a torture victim, supporting the theory that it was used to bury Jesus.

The Shroud of Turin in a linen cloth, three meters in length, that bears an image of a man some believe to be Jesus Christ. The cloth is thought by many to have been used to wrap Christ’s body after his crucifixion.

The new research, carried out by various institutions under Italy’s National Research Council and published in the US scientific journal Plos One, contradicts the theory that Jesus’ face was painted onto the cloth by forgers in medieval times.

Elvio Carlino, who led the research at the Institute of Crystallography in Bari, Italy, says the cloth contains nanoparticles of creatinine bounded with small nanoparticles of iron oxide, which indicate severe trauma rather than paint. 10 yr. Old Jeremy Taken to Heaven, told of Future Events (Shocking!)

10 year old Jeremy was taken to Heaven and told of difficult times ahead. He later went to Heaven for a final time (passed on), and this is his story as told by his mother. (Consistent w. Rev. 9). This is a warning shot across the bow…If this is true, we are in the last days… make sure your house is in order! It is not enough to make Jesus your Savior… we must make Him our Lord (and live, to the best of our ability, according to His will for our lives)!

Why NOT to Listen to Henry Makow’s Exegesis: The Creature is Not Saved!

I hardly ever go to Henry Makow’s website. I only read some of the beginning of his articles at thetruthseeker.co.uk, to get the gist, and then I desist.

Why? Because this creature – Jesus used that term for unsaved humans – was never born the second time (yet?), and therefore is not a child of God! And so his opinions and “exegesis” of the WORD, are also un-regenerated, and not to be treated as words from a true shepherd, but so far merely from “a hireling, whose own the sheep are not.” John 10:12.

In other words, Makow is not part of our Family, our Mispochah. He is not part of the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ! He is not our own! He still belongs to someone else.
As Jesus said,

“He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Sure, he can tell some truths here and there, but so did Hitler, Lenin, Gengis Kahn, and many others. Even the Devil tells some truths, otherwise people wouldn’t have followed him. Continue reading “Why NOT to Listen to Henry Makow’s Exegesis: The Creature is Not Saved!”

Natural expression of gender: The story of a male-identifying little girl who didn’t transition

Comment: Though this blog-post was written in the summer of 2014, it is even more relevant today in regards to the war being waged against the natural connection between gender and biological sex.

I have been shying away from highly controversial topics on this blog recently because I just couldn’t take the drama that naturally associates with it. But I keep hearing the story of Ryland, a child who was born a female, whose parents have transitioned her to male at 5 years old. You can see the full story HERE, but in short, because their daughter identified herself as a boy, and liked “boy” things as opposed to “girl” things, they cut off her hair, bought her “boy” clothes, and have begun telling her, and others, that she is a boy.

I have no degree in early childhood development, nor have I studied psychology. I didn’t even graduate from College.

I am also not here to pass judgement on Ryland’s parents. I believe that they are doing what they believe to be the most loving thing for their child. I’m simply sharing my story because I see so much of my 5-year-old self in this child.

I was born the second daughter to two loving, amazing, supportive parents. They would go on to have 2 more daughters. The four of us couldn’t be more different, even down to our hair and eye color. Our parents embraced our differences and allowed us to grow as individuals, not concerned with the social “norms” for girls. I often joke that I was the boy my dad never had. My dad is a free spirit, 100% unconcerned with what people think of him, and he thought nothing of “out of the box” behavior. I function more as a firstborn than a second born (however, this does not make me the firstborn, amiright?)

Jesus – “The Beginning of the Creation of God.” – Rev. 3:14

Jesus is the container of God, like water in a pitcher.  St. Paul said Jesus is “the image”, the face of the invisible God.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” – Colossians 1:15 (KJV)

Imagine someone standing behind a thin curtain pressing his facial features into the curtain. The curtain is Jesus. Or a mask of someone’s face. Jesus is the living mask of the invisible God. No one else ever was that perfect image, that perfect mask. That perfect visible copy of God.

The Greek New Testament says, that Jesus is the “LOGO” of God, translated into English as the WORD of God, translated into Chinese as “DAO”. Right! The ‘Dao’ from Daoism or Taoism. It is all in the translation! Translation is finding the right WORD to cover the intrinsic meaning. Likewise Jesus is the perfect “TRANSLATION” of God to Man.

“I invisible God, you visible man, you don’t understand! You need some One to help you see, Me! Invisible Me! I need a glass container to pour my invisible water into, a balloon to pump mu invisible gas, my Self, into a form! So you can see, in order to conceive, to understand, to grasp my Eternal being.”

Jesus is God’s television, broadcast from afar. The perfect vision of Him. There is no other vision of God that was so perfect. Continue reading “Jesus – “The Beginning of the Creation of God.” – Rev. 3:14″
