It’s a very serious offence to murmur against God! God hates murmuring almost more than any other sin–complaining, grumbling, grouching! We all do it! We’re all guilty! So we all have to encourage each other! When one stumbles the other will lift him up!
Murmuring is the voice of doubt, and doubts are the manifestation of a lack of faith. When you start losing faith by not being in the Word and in the Spirit, then you lose the vision, because you aren’t in close enough touch with the Lord to have any vision or direction, and you begin to doubt! And if you doubt, pretty soon you voice it. Eventually they’re going to come out of your mouth. “Out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Lk.6:45)–And that’s when you begin to get others down too!
So let’s carry the burden of our responsibilities bravely, courageously, cheerfully and thankfully, and not be heard to grumble, groan or gripe! We just need to get our minds on our blessings, and be thankful for all God’s goodness! When we’ve thanked God for every blessing, what time is there left for murmurs or laments?
I hardly ever go to Henry Makow’s website. I only read some of the beginning of his articles at thetruthseeker.co.uk, to get the gist, and then I desist.
Why? Because this creature – Jesus used that term for unsaved humans – was never born the second time (yet?), and therefore is not a child of God! And so his opinions and “exegesis” of the WORD, are also un-regenerated, and not to be treated as words from a true shepherd, but so far merely from “a hireling, whose own the sheep are not.” John 10:12.
In other words, Makow is not part of our Family, our Mispochah. He is not part of the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ! He is not our own! He still belongs to someone else.
As Jesus said,
“He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Sure, he can tell some truths here and there, but so did Hitler, Lenin, Gengis Kahn, and many others. Even the Devil tells some truths, otherwise people wouldn’t have followed him. Continue reading “Why NOT to Listen to Henry Makow’s Exegesis: The Creature is Not Saved!”
