A 22-year-old supermarket employee invited a lonely widower to Christmas dinner after hearing he spends most his days alone. Edwin Holmes, 86, wore his best suit to have dinner with Sainsbury’s worker Ellie Walker. And when he arrived with flowers for Ellie she said it reduced her to tears. (Photos credit: Sainsbury’s)
“He said it was his first ‘date’ in 55 years and he was as nervous as a schoolboy,” Ellie told The Sun. “It made me cry because I could see how much it meant to him. For me it’s the most important part of my job to speak with customers and see how their day is going.”

I normally don’t go much for TED talks (their secret agenda!)… BUT there are some exceptions where we can learn a lot from, like this one.
This one is very good for God’s children, as we are supposed to be the best communicators to the weary waiting world, but we are all learning to become better communicators. It takes time, maturing, patience, and practice! And this is great practice for communicators, especially of LOVE! Oh Lord help us to be smoother communicators. I liked the silence bit. Ha! Must watch! Continue reading “Julian Treasure: How to speak so that people want to listen”
Beautiful touching video of Kent Hovind touched by the everlasting love of Jesus who was prophesied as, “A bruised reed will he not break, and a smoking flax will he not quench.” He is being relentless attacked by who? By American “Christians”! Professing believers who condemn him for being divorced from his wife who actually LEFT HIM!
Not only that, but these judgmental religionists blame him for re-marrying! Whereas Paul said that when the unbelieving party departs then a brother or sister is not bound any longer.” In other words he is free to marry again. People can be so Pharisaical, so judgmental, so condemning, as if they haven’t read what Jesus said, or what He was like! Do they even know Jesus? MUST WATCH! The article points critiqued below by us appeared on various New Age websites, and we will take it to the woodshed. This is the main leading quote: ‘Religion is belief in someone else’s experience. Spirituality is having your own experience’ – Deepak Chopra
OUR TRANSLATION: “Faith in Jesus Christ is religion and out! New Age is real spirituality and IN! (Old hat!) Chopra means to say that:
- you have to experience your own spiritual universe by your own efforts.
- instead of trusting & respecting your Creator, you ought to ignore or deny Him by producing your own righteousness by spiritual or self-religious works. IOW: Self worship rather than GOD worship!
“Telling people you are spiritual but not religious is often greeted with a confused face. People tend to think of spirituality as something very strange and mysterious. They even struggle to differentiate it from religion but this is only because people in modern-day society have a fear of being manipulated and have a lack of knowledge when it comes to non-material subjects. The truth of the matter is that spirituality is perhaps the most natural thing there is, it is simply your own conscious-self recognizing that you are more than just a body, that you are a soul with infinite potential.
OUR TRANSLATION: Lots of religious people — God worshippers! — still view and reject New Age as a deception &/or false doctrine, and rightly so, while the writer is trying to win souls for self-worship which opens the door for rebel angels & their cronies to access your heart and mind & spirit! This beautiful Beethoven Flash performance needs no sermon. You can hear, see, and feel it. But the poor Europeans are destroying it with their unbelief and skepticism, hate & secular ‘humanistic’ pride. Poor Europeans! What they forsook when they threw Jesus out of the backdoor. Pitiful! They have no idea. And it is only the beginning of sorrows! The Sad Last Days of Man. You’ll never miss the water until the well runs dry.
