從前在東方王國的中部，有一座美麗的花園。每日傍晚時分，園子的主人就會來這裏散步。在園子裏的樹木中，最美麗、且最被主人所愛的就是那優雅而高貴的竹。

隨著一年年的過去，竹長得愈來愈美麗而優雅。他也深知主人對他的愛，以及當他主人觀賞他時的喜悅之情，然而他卻是最謙虛，在任何事上都是那麼溫柔。經常當風兒來訪，在園裏歡樂戲耍時，竹便會暫棄他的尊嚴。他會隨風起舞，快樂地左右搖擺、跳躍，狂放而喜悅地鞠躬。他會帶領整個園子的樹木一起來舞蹈，而那最使得他主人的心喜悅無比。

有一天主人走近竹的身旁深思。竹帶著好奇的期盼神情，將他那高俊的頭鞠躬到地，來向主人表達他充滿愛意的問候。主人說：「竹啊，竹啊，我想要用你。」

竹說：「主人，我已經準備好了，請隨您心意來用我吧。」

主人帶著沉重的聲調說：「竹啊，我必須把你砍下來。」竹因驚怕而全身打戰。

A New Private Interpretation of the Last 7 Years Falsified

There is a new interpretation doing the rounds among some obsessed with Jesuits. Just because one Jesuit had a certain „futurist” interpretation of the future promises and Bible prophecies in Revelation and Daniel, it appears they have thrown out the baby with the bathwater.

Here is the key prophecy in Daniel 9 where the angel Gabriel gives him the answer to his prayer for “thy people and thy holy city!”

 24            Seventy weeks [sevens!] are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

9:25         Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two [62] weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

9:26         And after threescore and two [62] weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

9:27         And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

HEAVEN! THE REAL STORY! One reason I like to talk about Heaven, think about Heaven and read about Heaven is because, after all, that’s where we’re going to spend Eternity, so it’s a pretty important place and we ought to be pretty interested, don’t you think? It’s our Eternal Home, the place Jesus has gone to prepare for us forever, so we certainly ought to be interested in it and want to know what it’s like and what we’re going to be like when we get there!

Heaven will be our last move!–No baggage, no luggage, no hard journey, no packing, no long travel! It may be a long way, but it may be closer than you think! You can’t take it with you! Whatever you have there you will have already sent ahead in the way of souls won, victories won, battles won and rewards won for your service here! Heaven is our Home and the Heavenly City our destination.
Heaven is not the end: it’s only the beginning.  Heaven is going to be like this life, only better!–With all of the assets but none of the liabilities! Life hereafter for us, God’s children, will be an extension or a multiplication of the joy and thrilling, exciting lives we now lead!

PPS: “Cracked Pot” For those of us who feel so flawed!

“There is none righteous. No not one. Because all of us have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:10,23)

I have a new friend from Korea, and she mentioned to me how she knows some Christians that are so very righteous and good. One is always so perfect and gets up at 5 AM in the morning to read her Bible.

My friend, who is a new Christian, feels she falls short miserably, for she is often tired, and has arguments with her husband, and she doesn’t feel like a very good Christian. This powerpoint is for her, and for all of us who feel like we can’t make it very well.
